FACEBOOK F8 “AR Art”
︎ While working at Facebook, Andreas was tasked to ‘bring to life’ artist Heather Day’s paintings as the world’s first interactive AR art experience at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park.
Facebook internally created an AR mobile app that users at the Facebook campus could install and use to see Heather’s animated artwork on the walls of FB’s headquarters.

Heather created unique pieces of artwork for this project, which was documented by filming every stage of her production process. Each layer was then supplied to produce an intricate animation with conventional 2/3D programs and the use of photogrammetry to project it perfectly back onto the wall.

The experience was presented during the event by Mark Zuckerberg.
